DESCRIPTION:Mainline Needle Exchange 1st Public Awareness Day! \nWe would like to invite you to the Mainline Needle Exchange 1st Public Awareness Day on Friday\, September 30\, 2016 from 10am to 2pm. Mainline provides a lifesaving\, cost effective and vital service throughout the HRM and throughout mainland Nova Scotia. \nAt Mainline\, we recognize that drug use is a multifaceted complex health issue with no one size fits all solution. We take pride in the fact our staff come with relevant life experience and thus have a unique ability to understand our clients. \nThe aim of the day is to create awareness of the ongoing struggle and the continued funding challenges that Mainline has experienced over its almost 25 years of operation and to also reach a broader audience to allow them to know all that Mainline is and does in innovative and useful ways. \nThere will be refreshments and an opportunity to present the “Program Evaluation for Mainline Needle Exchange: Contributing to a Harm Reduction Landscape in Nova Scotia” prepared by AIRN. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
