DESCRIPTION:Check the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/997042770834730/ \n\n\n\n** start & end locations will be updated closer to event date** \n\n\n\nHonouring & remembering the Indigenous women\, girls\, Two-Spirit & other Indigenous relations that have been taken from us in an ongoing genocide. \n\n\n\nWe will meet\, march\, have an opening ceremony\, & then hang red dresses\, red ties\, or red fabric to commemorate those in the spirit world. Please do your best to social distance\, and wear a mask. \n\n\n\nAs the dresses MUST come up and down in ceremony– we will be having a smaller ceremony on the 28th- there will not be an event page for this\, but chat with the organizers if you’d like to attend. \n\n\n\nPlease note we are using MMIR (relations) instead of MMIW (women) to consider those in our communities who live beyond the confines of the gender binary.
