DESCRIPTION:Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/184871366476527 \n\n\n\nEducators for Social Justice Nova Scotia recently coordinated a bulk order of the book “Teacher Unions and Social Justice: Organizing for the Schools and Communities Our Students Deserve.” \n\n\n\nOne of the book’s editors\, Michael Charney\, was active in the Social Justice Caucus in his union for around 20 years and is excited to meet with educators and others passionate about Teacher Unions and Social Justice to discuss some of the ideas covered in the book. \n\n\n\nWe will meet with Michael online through Zoom on Wednesday April 7th from 7 – 8pm AST.  \n\n\n\nPlease pre-register by clicking on the event link.Discussion will centre around the contents of the brief introduction to the book and avid readers are encouraged to choose one or more from any of the 60 articles that piques their interest and bring their thoughts on it to the group!
