SUMMARY:All Tongues: Online Gathering for 2SLGBTQ+ Immigrants
DESCRIPTION:The Halifax Pride Immigrant Committee will celebrate a new online gathering\, creating a space for 2SLGBTQ+ immigrants to connect before (and beyond) the festival in July. This is a closed and safer space for anyone identifying as an immigrant and a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community\, in Halifax\, Nova Scotia.We’ll be meeting online over Zoom\, where those who wish to remain anonymous can be\, by deactivating their cameras and/or changing their username. Access to the event will be supervised\, and disruptive or abusive behaviour won’t be tolerated.We want to have an open discussion about our experiences as 2SLGBTQ+ immigrants living in Halifax. We want to share what made us leave our home country\, and create a safe space where we can share the struggles\, challenges\, successes and accomplishments around the settlement process\, not just as immigrants but also as 2SLGBTQ+ individuals.Registration via the FB event
