We will be joining others across Canada in demanding a moratorium on all new and in-progress fossil fuel related projects\, as well as Just Transition legislation that will transform the Canadian economy to address systemic inequities while creating the infrastructure needed to mitigate and adapt to climate change. This is also called a Green New Deal\, which is being pushed for around the world! We can’t wait. Please bring a mask for covid-safety and be ready to social distance. Please also bring props to help make our message clear such as fire extinguishers\, N-95 masks\, posters\, songs and any other on-message creative contributions. This is a large climate-caring community and the only action in Nova Scotia so far\, so let’s aim for big numbers. Can we fill the whole back parking lot? Please share online and in person widely!
