Black Environments Matter
April 20, 2021 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Join the South End Environmental Injustice Society (SEED) for an online forum exploring the impacts environmental racism holds upon our Black and Indigenous communities throughout Nova Scotia.
For generations Black residents in the South End of Shelburne have been burdened by living nearby a toxic waste facility. Through education and awareness, SEED aims to create an understanding of the significant effects of environmental racism beyond climate change.
