Canada Since 1960: A People’s History

Larry and Judy Haiven will speak & read bits of a chapter they wrote in a new book Canada Since 1960: A People’s History – a Left Perspective on 50 Years of Politics, Economics and Culture (Lorimer, 2016).
The chapter “50 Years of Class Struggle” is about the the union movement in Canada and the role Canadian Dimension, Canada’s leading left wing magazine, played in writing about labour struggles, struggles of women workers, and the struggle to build a radical, made in Canada, trade union movement.
