Dr. Julius Garvey, son of Marcus Garvey, speaks on the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent

Marcus Garvey was the founder of the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) and regarded as the leader of the largest organized mass movement in Black history. Garvey’s influence extended well beyond the United States to the Caribbean, Canada and Africa. Dr. Julius Garvey is an accomplished and successful medical doctor, who continues to carry on his father’s legacy.
