Faculty Author Talk with Dr. Rohini Bannerjee

March 8, 2021 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/1446198275723169/

What does it mean to live in a society obsessed with thinness? How can we, collectively and individually, reconsider our obsession with women’s bodies?

These are the questions explored in “Big: Stories about Life in Plus-Sized Bodies”, and the subject of our next #FacultyAuthorSeries event. Join us on #InternationalWomensDay for a lively discussion of this collection, including the short story, “Barbara Streisand or
Bust!” by Dr. Rohini Bannerjee.
