We’re going live to talk about dental care for all!
Many Canadians can’t afford dental care, and this huge gap in our healthcare system can lead to devastating health effects. But the NDP has a plan to make basic dental care accessible for everyone.
I’m happy to be welcoming not one but two expert guests this week:Dr. Hasan Sheikh is an emergency and addictions physician in Toronto and the Vice-Chair of Canadian Doctors for Medicare. He is a lecturer at the University of Toronto Department of Family and Community Medicine, and holds a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Dr. Brandon Doucet is a dentist practicing in Nova Scotia, with interests in surgery and public health and is a founding member of the Coalition for Dentalcare.
