Please join us on Thursday in support of Owls Head Provincial Park.
Concerned citizens are invited to gather outside the Law Courts in
solidarity with applicants Bob Bancroft & Eastern Shore Forest Watch
Association, as they challenge the secret delisting & Letter of Offer in
court. This judicial review is not about golf; it’s about transparency,
procedural fairness, and public consultation.
In Nova Scotia, nearly half of our 206 provincial parks are awaiting
designation, the same way that Owls Head Provincial Park was before it
was secretly delisted. This sets a dangerous precedent that could
further jeopardize our protected areas network.
