June 1, 2019, HALIFAX/KJIPUKTUK—One of more than 150 town halls about The Pact for a Green New Deal is taking place June 6th 2019, in Halifax. The Halifax event is organized by the Our Time and Halifax Green New Deal Team. Hundreds of local residents are expected to take part and voice their vision for “The Pact.” Town halls are being hosted across the country, from Port Alberni to Edmonton to St. John’s, Newfoundland, and in all major cities across the country, in both official languages, all organized by local volunteers.
