CLIMATE STRIKE HALIFAX TO HOLD RALLY FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE
On september 25th 2020, Climate Strike Halifax, A.K.A schoolstrike4climatehfx will hold a socially distanced climate justice rally. As a society we are currently experiencing many overlapping crises and do not have the luxury of complacency. Therefore, we continue to strike in the name of climate justice in a covid-friendly manner to show government that we are #notgoingback to normal.
*note: this event was planned before escalation of events in saulnierville and we are now focusing our event on solidarity with Mi’kmaq treaty defenders as well as the #notgoingback campaign.
What: Global climate rally
When: September 25th, arrival 12:00-12:30, event start 12:30
Where: Halifax City Hall (Grand Parade)

Why: To demand that all levels of government enact a just recovery from the covid-19 pandemic that has a focus on the #notgoingback campaign in the name of climate justice for all.
